Welcome to the Neural Engineering lab at the Department of Neurosciences, School of Medicine, UC San Diego. Our interdisciplinary science involves bioengineering stem cells, and neuroscience systems biology to investigate mechanisms of axonal regeneration and how one can further enhance regeneration post traumatic injury.

We have a diverse team from various disciplines, including neurosciences,  bioengineering, biomedical sciences, chemical engineering, and medicine. All members, Post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students have an equal opportunity to contribute, and develop their skills and interests in science.

We are located in San Diego with its 31 beaches spanning across 17 miles, and its perfect weather.
